Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Cooked breakfast was very good, including the haggis. Friendly staff. Conveniently located for visiting family and chilling at the beach. We didnt get to visit the Chocolate shop but definitely will next time!

We were in Scotland attending a funeral and the wake was held at the hotel and the high tea was lovely and the staff were really accommodating.

Good decent size rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is not the most modern ( which is of no concern to me ) but spotlessly clean. We dined there and dinner was well cooked and good value. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful and polite.

I would say this is an upper end 3star hotel. There ate a lot of facilities such as spa , swimming pool and sauna. Plenty of space and entertainment over the whole weekend not just the tribute night. can’t fault the staff as nothing was too much bother.

It was pleasant my second visit as my family live in Ellon. Very clean comfortable and was made feel very welcome. My niece and young family joined us for breakfast next day. Staff were very accommodating x There was an error on the booking site saying we could check in earlier but the staff accommodated us regardless.

Nicely located wee hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and decent bar with good selection of drinks. Proper tea n biscuits in room. Didn't use the restaurant other than for breakfast but judging by it's quality I'd be surprised if the food wasn't of an equally high standard.

Staff we’re very friendly and welcoming. Could only book a twin room at point of booking however they offered us to a double room without us needing to ask. Really nice bar inside the hotel too.

The hotel is conviently placed for exploring Ellon, very friendly staff and the food was good. Room was a bit on the small side and the bathroom was cramped but apart from that had a good stay and would definitely go back.
